But Cole had spent the past little over 14 years fighting in a war. While I'm sure Cole isn't at the recommended age anymore to participate. Dungeons and Degenerate Gamblers isn't trying to be Balatro like Shawn said. It has been in development for years and was even on itch a year ago before it had professional art added. Obviously it has similarities, but it isn't chasing the success of Balatro like Shawn suggested it might be.

If you look close enough at the monitor that is next to Clayface when he was sitting, you can see that while the heart rate has flatlined, the brain waves are still going. Im pretty sure this might be a hint that this is not actually Joker.

Giant Bombs reaction videos kinda show why Nintendo Directs tend to be good, even when they aren't always jam packed like this one. They seem to find a way to really balance the presentation that it will speak in some way or form to almost anybody.

I am SO excited for Metroid Prime 4, I would buy the next console just for that

I was surprised to hear that GB considers Metroid Prime 2 a disappointment. The dark world is so central to the level design (the heart of a Metroid game), that it never felt like a gimmick to me. Like I'm not saying MP2 is better than MP1, but the map is definitely more intricate and that's because of the dark world.

This is so cool to watch everyone be so pumped about video games watching this direct. We need more of this in gaming. Way too much negativity and criticisms going too far. Games should be fun and this was really fun to watch!

My honest opinion, this was way too fanboy and far too much excitement for old arcade/console ports. As for content, the persistent need to add farming elements... The first party games looked excellent, with the exception of an incredibly and surprisingly lackluster Metroid 4. If you take out the first party, this is a straight bomb. The only caveat is that this might be exciting for those that own ONLY a Switch.

It's wild to see people getting excited about the retro games being added to the switch when those games are so easy to access in so many other more convenient ways
